“Shred – It” Event for small businesses and individuals

Saint Pius X Church is hosting their annual Shred – It fundraiser event on Saturday, May 23 from 9 a.m. to noon, rain or shine. The shredding event will be held at Saint Pius X Church, 310 Westfield St., Middletown, CT. Small businesses and individuals are welcome to utilize this important service. Come and watch as the mobile shredding truck securely destroys unwanted paperwork.

Funds raised from this event support over 30 outreach ministries such as the community garden, Amazing Grace Food Pantry, Christmas Tree Giving program for children and adults, Food Banks, the knitting of shawls for the sick, and
numerous youth programs.

Suggested fundraiser donation is $10 per paper grocery size bag or $25 per banker box or 3 paper bags. High School student volunteers assist with the removal of paper from participants vehicles.
