Major Seasonal Retailer To Open Store In Milford

MILFORD, CT — Spirit Christmas will ring in the holiday season in Connecticut with two stores in Milford and Manchester.

According to the Spirit Christmas website, the Milford store will open in November at the former JoAnn Fabrics site at 1405 Boston Post Road.

The Manchester location will also open in November at the former Hobby Lobby at 241 Buckland St.

Both locations are currently Spirit Halloween stores and will switch gears for the holidays next month.

Last year, Spirit Christmas had two stores in Connecticut at the same locations. The company expects to open 30 stores across the country this year.

Spirit Christmas is "your one-stop shop for the holiday décor of your dreams," carrying an array of holiday clothing, displays, inflatables, nutcrackers, stocking stuffers, and more, according to its website.

The stores will also feature the "Candy Cane Express" this season, which is "a magical, interactive, Christmas train station where you can shop animatronics like Heat Miser and Snow Miser from The Year Without a Santa Claus, Snoopy from Peanuts, and Misfit Toys."
