• Milford Man Accused Of Damaging Flock Cameras Over Privacy Concerns: Police (patch.com) — Milford residents are learning more about a July incident in which a 20-year-old local man allegedly damaged four city-owned Flock license plate reader cameras, causing over $16,000 in damage. Police say he cited privacy and constitutional concerns, as the city simultaneously faces intense public debate and a delayed aldermen decision on whether to pause the camera program for further review.
   

• 2 Rescued After Canoe Capsizes Off Milford Coast (patch.com) — Two people were rescued from Long Island Sound off the Milford coast after their canoe capsized near Laurel Beach, thanks to a rapid response by Milford firefighters using a Jet Ski. Officials say recent Jet Ski training around Charles Island helped, and they're urging residents to always wear life jackets and remember that offshore water conditions can change quickly.
