He pledged full cooperation with police to identify and prosecute those responsible, stressing that such cruelty violates Milford's values and that the community must protect its most vulnerable neighbors.

• Man Broke Into Gym Locker, Stole Credit Cards, Milford Police Say (patch.com) — Milford residents are being alerted after police say a Middletown man broke into a locker at the Planet Fitness in town, stole a member's credit cards, and used them fraudulently. Officers report he used false identities for memberships and rentals, faced multiple theft and identity charges, and was held on a high bond ahead of Milford Superior Court proceedings.

• Milford officials update residents on status of law enforcement cameras in city (wtnh.com) — Milford officials are weighing how to use red-light, speed, license plate, drone, and Flock surveillance cameras, with most systems currently paused except some readers on the city border. A seven-member review board, created by the mayor, has under 90 days to recommend a policy to the Board of Alders and will meet again Oct. 26 and Nov. 10.
