• Workers' comp fraud case against New Fairfield man ends after his death (nhregister.com) — A workers' compensation fraud case against a 72-year-old New Fairfield resident has been dropped after his recent death at his New Fairfield home. Prosecutors entered a routine nolle prosequi in Danbury Superior Court, closing the case that stemmed from an allegedly staged workplace fall in Ridgefield in 2025.
