• 'It's a Movement': New Canaan Parent Support Group Marks 10th Annual Addiction Awareness Vigil on Sept. 1 (newcanaanite.com) — New Canaan families are invited to the 10th annual Community Addiction Awareness Vigil on Sept. 1 at Elm Street and South Avenue, where up to 750 people are expected. The free event features live music, recovery speakers, a candlelight ceremony, and a community pledge, all centered on supporting those affected by addiction. The New Canaan Parent Support Group also meets weekly at St. Mark's for ongoing help.
   

• Bride Path Lane Colonial Sells for $2.3 Million (newcanaanite.com) — Recent New Canaan property transfers include a 1957 four-bedroom Colonial at 153 Bridle Path Lane that sold for $2.3 million on Aug. 13.
