• Jury finds New Haven man guilty of fatal 2023 hit-and-run that killed 17-year-old (fox61.com) — A New Haven jury has convicted local resident Lennell Bethea in connection with a 2023 hit-and-run on Sherman Parkway that killed 17-year-old Bryan Ramirez-Gutierrez of New Haven. Police crash investigators and prosecutors detailed how Bethea struck the teen and fled, and officials say they hope the verdict offers some measure of closure to the victim's family ahead of sentencing in November.
