• New Milford approves church boardwalk project to help Sherman girl earn coveted Eagle Scout rank (stamfordadvocate.com) — New Milford's wetlands commission has cleared a boardwalk project behind Walnut Hill Community Church, allowing a Sherman teen to move ahead with her Eagle Scout service work on a muddy trail. The volunteer-built, 48-foot structure will improve access for youth groups and church members while protecting water flow near Town Farm Brook.
