The program, grounded in Connecticut law, aims to protect Newtown students as they return to school by catching motorists who fail to stop for buses displaying flashing red lights.
   

• Newtown man gets conditional discharge for sharing ex's intimate images (nhregister.com) — A Newtown man received a conditional discharge in Derby Superior Court after pleading guilty to illegally disseminating an intimate image of his ex-girlfriend. He avoided jail time after a 364-day sentence was suspended, but must complete three years of conditional discharge, stemming from explicit videos police say were shared without the woman's knowledge or consent.
