Autumn is actually the best time of year to plant and reconsider your gardens and lawns. Join RCC chairman Erik Keller at the Ridgefield Library on Thursday, September 10th at 7:00 pm for a discussion about nature-friendly landscaping practices. Erik will cover a variety of options as to how best to care for lawns, trees/shrubs, annuals/perennials, as well as the safe use of pesticides/herbicides/fertilizers.
Erik has been a member of the commission since 2019 and is a certified Master Gardener in Connecticut. He has also received certification in horticultural therapy from the New York Botanical Garden and is the author of the book, “A Therapist’s Garden”.
