• CREC receives nearly $320K to help attendance (bristolpress.com) — Rocky Hill families with children at the Academy of Aerospace & Engineering Elementary School are among those who could benefit as CREC receives nearly $320,000 to tackle chronic absenteeism. The LEAP-funded effort will support home visits, family engagement, and individualized attendance plans across CREC schools, aiming to remove barriers like transportation, health, and housing so more students stay in class consistently.
