SHELTON-DERBY, CT — Early voting for the Nov. 3 election opens Monday at the Shelton Community Center, Derby's aldermanic committees meet Thursday and both cities' Planning and Zoning commissions meet Tuesday.

1. Early Voting Opens In Shelton

When: Monday, Oct. 19, through Sunday, Nov. 1, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Election Day is Tuesday, Nov. 3

Where: Shelton Community Center, 41 Church St.

What to know: Early voting for Shelton voters is at the Shelton Community Center, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., according to the city calendar. State law sets early voting hours at 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., with extended 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. hours on Tuesday, Oct. 27, and Thursday, Oct. 29.
