Crash Causes Water Outage In Southington: Police
Police said a vehicle slammed into a fire hydrant Wednesday evening.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — A temporary water outage affected part of West Queen Street on Wednesday evening after a motor vehicle struck a fire hydrant, according to the Southington Police Department.
Police said the crash damaged the hydrant, disrupting water service in the immediate area.
The Southington Water Department responded to the scene and worked to restore service.
