• New Southington mural celebrates Plantsville history with help from local students (fox61.com) — A nearly finished mural at 772 South Main Street is turning downtown Plantsville into a colorful celebration of Southington's past, inspired by historic photos and longtime residents' memories. Local artist Brian Troccolo and Southington Youth Services' Mural Makers program brought high school students into the project, giving them hands-on experience while honoring the neighborhood's character ahead of a planned unveiling.
