Southington PD Cadets Lead Community Cleanup On Linear Trail Saturday

SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Southington Police Department will host a community cleanup event on Saturday, April 25, with cadets, officers, and dispatchers working together along the town’s Linear Trail.

The department announced participants will focus on maintaining and improving the trail area near Factory Square, aiming to keep public outdoor spaces “beautiful and safe for everyone to enjoy.”

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Officials said department cadets will take a leading role, joined by sworn officers and dispatch staff.

No road closures or service changes were announced.
