Southington Water Main Project Nears Completion
Southington officials say major water main replacement work on Berlin Street and nearby roads is scheduled to finish by July 10.
SOUTHINGTON, CT — The Southington Water Department is nearing completion of a major water main replacement project affecting Berlin Street, Vermont Avenue and surrounding areas, according to town officials.
Construction crews are continuing work weekdays from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m., and motorists should expect temporary lane closures and detours while the project is underway.
The project involves replacing aging water infrastructure in the area to improve the reliability of the town's water system.

Final trench paving and restoration work is scheduled to continue through July 10.
