Tickets On Sale Now For Southington's Popular 'Soup Night'

SOUTHINGTON, CT — An annual Southington fundraiser will bring together soups from more than 20 local restaurants next month for an evening centered on food and community support.

Bread for Life's annual Soup Night is scheduled for Wednesday, Oct. 14, from 5 to 7 p.m. in the Southington High School cafeteria.

The event's "SOUP" theme stands for "Support, Opportunity, Unity and Purpose," with organizers describing the fundraiser's message as, "It's not just what we eat, it's what we do!"

Attendees can sample soups from more than 20 restaurants in the Southington area.

Admission costs $13 for adults and $7 for children. Children younger than 5 are admitted free.

Tickets are limited and are being sold exclusively online. Raffle tickets are also available for purchase online.

The fundraiser benefits Bread for Life, a Southington nonprofit that provides food and other assistance to people in need in the community.
