I-95 Paving Project Planned In Stamford And Darien: Details

Lane closures are expected, according to the Connecticut Department of Transportation.

STAMFORD, CT — The Connecticut Department of Transportation announced a milling and resurfacing project on Interstate 95 northbound and southbound in Stamford and Darien.

The work is scheduled to begin Monday, May 4, and continue through Saturday, May 9.

The project involves milling and resurfacing a 1.4-mile segment of the center lane between Exits 9 and 10.

Lane closures are expected on I-95 in both directions between Exits 9 and 10. Traffic control personnel and signage will direct motorists through the work zone. Construction is scheduled to take place from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m., Sunday night through Saturday morning.

CTDOT said the schedule may be modified or extended due to weather or other unforeseen conditions. Motorists are advised to reduce speed in the work area.
