• 'Wanted' Individual Eludes Police After Foot Pursuit: Stamford PD (patch.com) — Stamford residents near Richmond Hill Avenue and Rose Park Avenue saw heavy police activity Tuesday after an officer chased a wanted individual who then entered a relative's home. Officers set up a perimeter, obtained a search warrant, and cleared the residence, but determined the person had already slipped away, and the area was later reopened to traffic.

Tommie Jackson, with state police testifying the cruiser was traveling well above the 25 mph limit. Jurors in Milford are hearing detailed reconstruction evidence and medical testimony, while the case's transfer from Stamford aims to avoid conflicts of interest involving local prosecutors.
