But auction houses won't sell it (ctpost.com) — A state Superior Court judge in Stamford has ruled that a Keith Haring drawing sold for $165,000 by a Greenwich gallery is authentic, even though major auction houses still refuse to list it over provenance concerns. The buyer's claims largely failed, and he was ordered to cover the gallery's legal fees despite proving one warranty issue was time-barred.

Blumenthal demands answers amid reports of increased ICE activity (news12.com) — Stamford residents are being told by Mayor Caroline Simmons that the city remains committed to protecting and supporting its immigrant community amid reports of stepped-up ICE activity. Advocacy groups say dozens of people have been detained in Stamford and nearby cities, prompting Sen. Richard Blumenthal to demand answers about federal enforcement tactics in Connecticut.
