• $1.3M In State Funding Approved For Bunnell Track Replacement Project (patch.com) — Stratford is set to get a full replacement of the Bunnell High School track after the State Bond Commission approved $1.3 million in funding. Local leaders say the project will ease the burden on taxpayers while restoring a safe, modern facility for Stratford Public Schools athletes, youth teams, and residents who rely on the town's only track.
   

• Bridgeport, Stratford's Success Village begins transition back to resident control (ctpost.com) — Stratford households living in the Success Village co-op are beginning a transition back to resident control after a court-appointed receiver stabilized heat, hot water, and major debts. A new advisory board of residents will help plan self-governance, even as the community faces costly steam pipe repairs and an ongoing federal investigation tied to former leadership.
   

• Paul L. DelPo (newhavenindependent.org) — An 82-year-old Army veteran who spent three decades working at Sikorsky Aircraft in Stratford has died, leaving behind his wife, two sons, and several grandchildren. Remembered for his love of fishing, travel, and family time, he also cherished New England trips and camping, and will be deeply missed by relatives across Naugatuck and Woodbridge.
