Town officials say speeding near Nichols, Second Hill Lane, and Bunnell High is down 80 percent, and report mostly positive feedback even as nearby Fairfield and Milford face louder backlash over similar technology.
   

• Stratford shelter seeks donations after helping dog in 'heartbreaking condition' (ctpost.com) — A Stratford rescue group is asking for donations after taking in Wiley, a severely emaciated German shepherd found near Roosevelt Forest without a collar and missing a leg.
