• 'Meticulously Updated' Home Hits The Market In Stratford (patch.com) — Stratford home shoppers can now tour a meticulously updated Cape on Bridgeview Place in the town's North End, offering river views and nearly 2,800 square feet of space. The four-bedroom, two-bath property features a remodeled eat-in kitchen with custom cherry cabinetry, granite counters, heated tile floors, and an open dining area, listed at $724,900.
   

• Stratford CrierStratford Health Department Announces 2026 Flu Clinic Schedule (stratfordcrier.com) — Stratford's Health Department has set three October flu clinics at the Baldwin Center and Birdseye Municipal Complex, including a Spider-Man-themed event for kids and school staff. Beacon Pharmacy will also offer COVID-19 and pneumonia shots and handle UnitedHealthcare flu vaccinations, with most clinics requiring appointments by phone.
   

• $234M contract awarded to Sikorsky for procurement of 16 Black Hawk helicopters (wtnh.com) — Sikorsky's new $234 million U.S. Army contract will keep Black Hawk helicopter production humming in Stratford through at least mid-2028, supporting local manufacturing jobs and suppliers. Connecticut's congressional delegation says the deal bolsters both the regional economy and national security while sustaining Sikorsky's extensive multistate supply chain.
