Free seminar for area pastors and church leaders

"Stop Overpaying the IRS" on Monday, May 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm

Aston Blake, Owner of Fruit In Its Season Wealth Management, will host a free, one-hour seminar titled "Stop Overpaying the IRS" for pastors and church leaders on Monday, May 18 from 6:30 to 7:30 pm. Admission is free and refreshments will be served. The seminar will be held at the Keep In Touch Business Training Center, 30 Lafayette Square, Suite 118 (2nd floor). Park in the rear lot and enter the center door to the elevator.

During this seminar, attendees will learn how housing allowances really work; the most common and costly mistakes that pastors make; IRS rules every minister must know; how to properly designate your allowance; strategies to maximize your tax advantage legally; and minister retirement plans including the right type of retirement plan.

An Ellington resident, Blake has over 30 years of experience in the Financial Services industry. He has financial acumen, training, and a passion for helping ministers, the body of Christ, and all those in the surrounding communities on their journey to retiring on their own terms.

In addition to his thriving business, Aston has also made a significant impact on his community. He serves as an Elder at his church in West Hartford and is an elected member of Ellington's Board of Assessment Appeals Committee. He has been married to his wife for 23 years and enjoys spending time with his wife and family including two grandchildren. He is an avid soccer and football fan and stays active by playing soccer. In all aspects of his life, Blake embodies a dedication to serving others, passion for finance, and a genuine concern for helping people protect the ones they love.
