Food Drive At West Hartford Supermarket Is This Weekend

Volunteers will collect nonperishables to help West Hartford's 'Town That Cares Food Pantry.'

WEST HARTFORD, CT — Volunteers will collect nonperishable food donations for West Hartford's 'Town That Cares Food Pantry' on Saturday, May 9, outside the local Stop & Shop, 1235 Farmington Ave.

The drive is scheduled from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and will support the pantry operated by the Town of West Hartford’s Social Services department.

Organizers are asking residents to contribute shelf-stable items, with a list of most-needed goods available through the town’s website.
