• Cultivating with Kerri: growing for good – a success on many tiers (westportjournal.com) — A local garden club's "Growing for Good" project is supplying fresh, organic vegetables and even small lavender bouquets to Westport's Gillespie Center and other nearby nonprofits, often providing the only fresh produce some recipients see all season. Volunteers, including Staples High student gardeners, tend plots at Wakeman Town Farm and Prospect Gardens in Westport, experimenting with new techniques while building community and earning national recognition.
