• Pickup truck drives through fence, crashes into Westport home (wtnh.com) — Emergency crews responded after a heavy-duty pickup truck crashed through a fence and into a home on Hillspoint Road in Westport, leaving the vehicle precariously perched on a stone wall. No serious injuries were reported, and local building and fire officials assessed the structure to ensure the house remains safe for residents.
   

• Two sculpture dedications coming up as WestPAC Committee begins its year (westportjournal.com) — Westport residents are invited to two upcoming public sculpture dedications, including Monday's 5 p.m. ceremony for "Circle of Peace" at the Westport Library entrance and an Oct. 15 event for "The Couple" at Riverside Park.
