• Lobstah! (06880danwoog.com) — Westport's Rotary Club LobsterFest once again sold out, drawing big crowds to Compo Beach for lobster, steak, kids' activities, and live music. The event, powered by Rotarians and local volunteers like Staples Service League of Boys and A Better Chance of Westport, raised hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities and community causes.
   

• Always… Patsy Cline (westportjournal.com) — A regional favorite musical, "Always… Patsy Cline," is coming to Music Theatre of Connecticut's MainStage on the Westport/Norwalk border November 6–22, with tickets now on sale. The intimate 108-seat theater on Westport Avenue will feature 27 Patsy Cline hits and marks part of MTC's 40th season, giving Westport-area theatergoers a nearby, Broadway-caliber option without heading into New York.

He regularly delivers bags of his brightly painted, painstakingly sanded trucks and fire engines to children at Bridgeport Hospital, finding comfort in helping sick kids while remembering his late wife Shirley.
