• Canceled: Tuesday's debate for 26th State Senate District candidates (westportjournal.com) — A planned debate in Westport for candidates in Connecticut's 26th State Senate District has been canceled after Republican Alma Sarelli declined to participate, leaving only Democrat Sam Nestor confirmed. The League of Women Voters of Westport and partners say their rules require at least two candidates, and note they'd spent months organizing forums to help voters across the district make informed choices this November.
