• Delaware participates in the Rural Health Transformation Program (hoyendelaware.com) — Students at Seaford Middle School will gain on-campus access to Nemours Children’s Health services thanks to new federal rural health funding for four Sussex County school-based health centers. The Seaford site, along with centers in Selbyville and Georgetown, aims to make preventive, primary, and behavioral care easier to reach for local families and catch health issues earlier. 
• Governor Meyer Launches Farm to Processing Program to Support Delaware Farmers, Healthy Food Access, and Second Chances (delaware.gov) — Seaford families will soon see more Delaware-grown fruits and vegetables in local schools as the Seaford School District and Seaford Boys & Girls Club join the state’s new Farm to Processing program. The initiative links Delaware farmers with correctional facilities that wash and prep produce for child nutrition programs, expanding healthy food access while giving incarcerated residents job skills for reentry.
