• New Church Man Pleads Guilty to Oak Hall Robbery, Assaulting Officers; Onley Man Sentenced in Construction Fraud Case (shoredailynews.com) — A contractor who took money from a Chincoteague woman for an HVAC job but left the work unfinished has now been sentenced to jail time after failing to meet restitution terms. He had claimed he would turn the HVAC unit over to Chincoteague Police but never did. The same court session also handled an unrelated Oak Hall robbery and officer assault case.
