• Major Pizza Chain Shutters Locations Nationwide, Including In FL (patch.com) — Papa John’s has closed one of its locations in Atlantic Beach as part of a broader wave of more than 40 restaurant shutdowns nationwide this year. The chain plans to shutter hundreds of underperforming stores through 2027, with several other Florida cities already affected. Local pizza fans may see fewer nearby options as the company restructures.
