Teen Critically Injured In Boca Raton Wave Runner Incident (bocanewsnow.com) — A teenager was critically injured off Boca Raton's South Inlet after being struck by a wave runner, then pulled from the water unconscious before local lifeguards and Fire Rescue revived him. He was airlifted from Hillsboro Park to a regional pediatric trauma center, and authorities are still working to determine what happened and locate the wave runner's driver.
   

2. How Boca Raton's ex-IBM site grew into top office center (palmbeachpost.com) — Boca Raton's historic IBM campus, now the Boca Raton Innovation Campus (BRiC), has been transformed into a modern office and community hub and was just purchased by a Related Ross affiliate. After years of investment by CP Group, the site now hosts events, art exhibits, and new tech and healthcare tenants, while FAU plans a quantum computer at its nearby Boca campus.
   

3. The Buccaneer Waterfront Bar & Grill to Host Exclusive Hell's Kitchen Reunion Dinner Featuring Five Season Winners (bocaratontribune.com) — Boca Raton food lovers can reserve a seat for an exclusive Hell's Kitchen reunion dinner at The Buccaneer Waterfront Bar & Grill on Friday, October 16, featuring five past season champions. The $165-per-person evening includes a curated five-course menu with paired wines, promising a high-end, TV-chef-driven waterfront experience close to home.
   

4. Il Fiore Closes in West Boca Raton, Silencing Chef's Tales of Wiseguys and Celebrities (tapinto.net) — West Boca Raton diners are losing Il Fiore, the Italian spot at Yamato Road and State Road 441 known for chef Michael Monaco's Jersey mob and celebrity stories. The restaurant has closed permanently, leaving only a handwritten sign of thanks and memories of its specialty sandwiches, pizzas, and colorful tales from Monaco's North Jersey career.
   

5. HSFA Florida Top 25 high school football rankings – September 14, 2026 (highschoolfootballamerica.com) — West Boca Raton High's football team has climbed to No. 4 in the statewide High School Football America Florida Top 25 after a convincing win over Cardinal Newman. The updated rankings, released today, show the Bulls among elite programs across Florida and preview several big matchups that could further shake up the list this week.
