• CP Group leader tells of modernizing Boca's Innovation Campus: 'It became a place' (sun-sentinel.com) — Boca Raton's massive Innovation Campus has changed hands, with Related Ross buying the 124-acre BRiC site that CP Group spent years modernizing and integrating into the local community. The new owner inherits city approvals for housing, a hotel, shops, and offices, and says it plans to keep BRiC an office and tech hub while shaping a long-term vision with Boca stakeholders.
   

• Boca Raton Woman Sues Starbucks, Alleging Second Degree Burn From Spilled Tea (bocapost.com) — A Boca Raton woman has filed a negligence and premises liability lawsuit against Starbucks, alleging a too-hot cup of tea from the Mizner Park store spilled and caused second-degree burns to her arm. The newly filed Palm Beach County case seeks more than $50,000 in damages, and court records show a jury trial has been requested, with no response yet from Starbucks.
   

• Veltkamp throws 5 TD passes and Rogers kicks 60-yard FG to help Florida Atlantic beat Navy 38-30 (seattlepi.com) — Florida Atlantic fans in Boca Raton saw quarterback Caden Veltkamp throw five touchdown passes and kicker Collin Rogers nail a program-record 60-yard field goal in a 38–30 win over Navy. The Owls nearly squandered a 38–7 lead but held on after recovering an onside kick, and now turn their attention to hosting Florida International next Saturday.
