• 470-Acre Prescribed Fire At Faver-Dykes State Park Darkens Sky (flaglerlive.com) — Thick black smoke visible from Bunnell today is coming from a 470-acre prescribed burn at Faver-Dykes State Park, not an out-of-control wildfire. Officials say there are no road closures, the fire is fully permitted, and conditions are favorable to keep it contained. Residents may see dramatic smoke plumes but are not currently at risk. 
• Ethics Commission Dismisses Yet One More ‘Legally Insufficient' Complaint, This Time Against the Council's Pontieri (flaglerlive.com) — State ethics officials have again dismissed a local complaint, this time involving Palm Coast council member and county commission candidate Theresa Pontieri, finding no legal basis to investigate her votes tied to a developer’s campaign donations. The ruling follows similar dismissals involving several area officials, including a Bunnell Planning Board member, underscoring how many recent complaints against local leaders have been deemed legally insufficient.
