• Arrests in Brevard County: June 10, 2026 – Suspects Presumed Innocent Until Proven Guilty (thespacecoastrocket.com) — Several Cocoa residents and individuals arrested by Cocoa Police are listed among Brevard County bookings from June 10, with charges ranging from trespassing and drug possession to driving with a suspended license. The roundup spans agencies across the Space Coast, but includes multiple Cocoa addresses and cases handled directly by Cocoa officers, with all suspects presumed innocent unless proven guilty.
   

• Major Pizza Chain Shutters Locations Nationwide, Including In FL (patch.com) — Papa John’s has closed more than 40 restaurants nationwide this year, including a location in Cocoa among several in Florida. The company is trimming hundreds of underperforming stores through 2027, so Cocoa residents may notice fewer local options from the chain as it restructures its footprint and competitors like Pizza Hut also scale back.
   

• Family considering legal action following use of K-9 during Brevard County man's arrest (wesh.com) — A Brevard County traffic stop near Cocoa is drawing scrutiny after video shows a sheriff’s K-9 biting a Melbourne man as he exited a vehicle. The man’s family is now weighing legal action, arguing he appeared to be complying when the dog was released, while the sheriff’s office has not yet publicly responded to questions about the incident.
