'We will find you': Fla. attorney general launches statewide crackdown on 'teen takeovers' (cbs12.com) — Florida’s attorney general is launching a statewide crackdown on social-media-driven “teen takeover” events, a move that follows a spring-break beach gathering in Daytona Beach that officials say drew about 10,000 people and led to numerous arrests. The new initiative will help local agencies build cases against organizers, potentially using conspiracy and RICO laws. Man accused of exposing self to teen at Palm Coast Planet Fitness (news-journalonline.com) — A man from Daytona Beach is facing new criminal charges after Flagler County deputies say he exposed himself and entered a teen’s shower stall at a Planet Fitness in Palm Coast back in February. Investigators say the 15-year-old quickly rejected the man’s approach, left safely, and later confidently identified him in a photo lineup. The suspect is already serving a federal prison sentence for an unrelated identity theft case.
