• Delray Beach mayor says he's against raising property tax rate (wptv.com) — Delray Beach residents could see about a 7% property tax increase next year even if the city keeps its current millage rate, but Mayor Tom Carney says he opposes raising that rate further. City commissioners will decide the tax rate Tuesday, while Carney points to rising property values, a strong Atlantic Avenue business district, and new developments as reasons to hold the line.
   

• Sheriff Seeks Forfeiture of $1.18 Million Seized in Loxahatchee Drug Investigation – [your]NEWS (yournews.com) — A major Palm Beach County drug investigation that began with Delray Beach police tracking a suspected marijuana dealer has led to the seizure of more than $1.18 million, a Mercedes, and jewelry. Investigators say surveillance linked the suspect to activity near Albatross Road in Delray Beach and a Loxahatchee home packed with cash, THC vape products, and drugs, sparking both criminal and forfeiture cases.
   

• Delray String Quartet: Save the Date (bocaratontribune.com) — Classical music lovers in Delray Beach can look forward to a full 2026–2027 Delray String Quartet season at St. Paul's Episcopal Church on South Swinton Avenue. Six Masterworks concerts, including special "In the Round" programs and a Side‑by‑Side performance with Lynn University competition winners, will run from November through May, bringing major works by Beethoven, Dvořák, Shostakovich, Mendelssohn, and Schubert to a neighborhood stage.
