• Edgewater installs canal sensors to fight flooding (mynews13.com) — Edgewater has installed new canal sensors at five locations to better track water levels and guide pumping during storms, aiming to reduce neighborhood flooding. Funded from the city’s general fund, the system will also feed into a stormwater master plan set for presentation at the May 4 city council meeting. 
• Edgewater High School E-Boutique Accepting Formal Attire Donations (nationaltoday.com) — Edgewater High School’s E-Boutique is now taking formalwear donations so every student can attend prom and other formal events without worrying about cost. Community members can drop off dresses, suits, shoes, and accessories at the school office, while students “shop” for free during lunch Tuesday through Friday throughout the 2026 prom season.
