City leaders say they believe they acted legally and emphasize the cameras’ safety benefits, while critics question dismissed citations and the county pushes for refunds. Expect the issue back before council on April 28. 
• Woman accused of throwing beer bottles at 3-year-old (hits973.com) — A Fort Walton Beach woman was arrested after deputies say she threw beer bottles toward a 3-year-old who approached her after she fell off a bicycle. The child was not hurt, but witnesses told the Okaloosa County Sheriff’s Office the bottles were thrown hard enough to cause serious injury. The woman faces an aggravated assault with a deadly weapon charge and a $10,000 bail.
