• Former JEA CEO Aaron Zahn released from federal prison, moved to halfway house (wokv.com) — Jacksonville residents following the JEA scandal should know former CEO Aaron Zahn has left federal prison and been moved to a halfway house overseen by an Orlando re-entry office. Zahn, convicted in 2024 of conspiracy and wire fraud tied to a failed JEA sale attempt, is now scheduled for full release in January 2027 after serving part of his sentence.

• San Jose Boulevard ramp to I-295 North to close overnight Monday and Tuesday, FDOT says (actionnewsjax.com) — Drivers in Jacksonville who use the San Jose Boulevard ramp to I-295 North should plan for full overnight closures from 9 p.m. to 5 a.m. on Monday and Tuesday while new pavement markings are installed. You'll need to detour via I-295 South to Old St. Augustine Road to get back north, and FDOT suggests checking FL511 or its social channels for real-time updates.

- New Tax Collectors Office on Beach Blvd across from the farmers market next to Goodwill.
We went to our Mandarin Tax Collectors Office yesterday. There was a two hour wait. The nice lady at the desk told us about the new office location… (Nextdoor Monclair) - A big shout out to the Walmart employee on merrill road, who noticed me having trouble breathing and assisted me with my check out and loading my groceries in my car.
