Felony Drug Suspect Arrested in Lady Lake with Assistance from U.S. Marshals Service (352today.com) — A 20-year-old man wanted on fentanyl-related felony charges in Marion County was arrested in Lady Lake after U.S. Marshals located him at a home on East Primrose Lane. Lady Lake Police assisted, using a drone during the operation, and the suspect was taken to Lake County Jail without incident. Officials praised interagency cooperation, and drone footage is posted on the Town of Lady Lake’s YouTube channel.
   

2. Florida Silver Alert Issued for Missing Woman From Lady Lake (bocapost.com) — A statewide Silver Alert is in effect for 69-year-old Diane Stephens, last known to be in Lady Lake in Sumter County. She’s described as 5-foot-4, 120 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. Anyone who may have seen her in or around Lady Lake is urged to contact the Sumter County Sheriff’s Office at 352-569-1600 or call 911 in an emergency.
   

3. Organization says Lake County cities are pulling back on honoring Pride (wesh.com) — Lady Lake recently approved a Pride proclamation, but only after contentious debate over how it was written and read, and that controversy is now echoing in Leesburg. Lake County Pride leaders say cities had routinely issued such proclamations until some church leaders, including the pastor of First Baptist Church of Lady Lake, began urging officials to pull back. The dispute centers on whether local governments should symbolically recognize Pride at all.
   

4. Woman having ‘hissy fit' at BJ's allegedly hits shopping cart with shovel (villages-news.com) — A disturbance at the BJ’s Wholesale Club gas station in Lady Lake led to the arrest of an Ocala woman accused of grabbing an attendant and striking a shopping cart with a shovel. Deputies say she later faced an additional felony battery charge after allegedly attacking a fellow inmate at the Sumter County Detention Center.
