• Naval Station Mayport sailor among 58 men arrested in child sex sting operation, deputies say (actionnewsjax.com) — Lake City Police and the Columbia County Sheriff’s Office helped Marion County deputies arrest 58 men in a multi-agency child sex sting that used undercover officers posing as minors online. One of those arrested is a 22-year-old sailor based at Naval Station Mayport. Investigators say the operation targeted people who showed up to meet who they believed were children.
