District leaders and families credit strong communication, caring staff, and tailored supports across schools like Hahira Elementary, while pledging to keep improving how they serve students with special needs.

• Jane Ingram Webb King (bainbridgega.com) — A former Brooks and Lowndes County educator who studied at Valdosta State College has passed away at 94, leaving deep roots in South Georgia. Remembered for her decades of teaching, strong faith, and dedication to family, she will be laid to rest in Morven, with a memorial service planned later in Enterprise, Alabama.
