• Eastman, Sandersville hospitals awarded federal funding (41nbc.com) — Southwell Medical in Adel is among 18 rural Georgia hospitals set to receive about $187,500 in new federal support aimed at keeping essential services open. The money can help retain doctors and nurses and maintain emergency and inpatient care. Local residents could see stronger hospital staffing and more stable access to critical health services as a result.
