• Lake Mary to vote on burying power lines ahead of hurricane season (clickorlando.com) — Lake Mary commissioners are set to vote Thursday night on partnering with Duke Energy to bury power lines along North Country Club Road between Lake Mary Boulevard and the Lake Mary Events Center. The move aims to reduce storm-related outages ahead of hurricane season, but the city has not yet released the project’s estimated cost.

• 2nd Seminole deputy arrested in falsified overtime investigation, sheriff says (orlandosentinel.com) — A Seminole County deputy is the second in two months accused in a falsified overtime scheme that included claimed hours at the Northwest Branch Library in Lake Mary. Investigators say one deputy was paid thousands for overtime he allegedly didn’t work, part of a broader probe into questionable off-duty timesheets involving local law enforcement agencies.
