ā¢ Leesburg Commission to hold hearing on proposed high-density apartment complex (leesburg-news.com) ā Leesburg commissioners will decide Monday night whether to rezone a vacant Lucas Street parcel to allow a 30-unit, twoāstory apartment complex in a lowādensity neighborhood. After both the Planning Commission and city staff recommended denial over traffic, density, and parcel size concerns, this public hearing will determine if the highādensity project moves forward near nearby homes and a school.

ā¢ Habitual traffic offender arrested after crashing Tesla in Leesburg (leesburg-news.com) ā Leesburg police arrested a local man after witnessing his Tesla crash at U.S. 27 and County Road 48 and discovering he was a habitual traffic offender with a long history of suspensions. The 41āyearāold driver, originally from New York, was charged with driving while license suspended and released from the Lake County Jail after posting bond. Ā Ā Ā
