• Child drowns in pool in Seminole County, deputies say (fox35orlando.com) — A young child drowned Wednesday night in a backyard pool at a home on Winston Road in Maitland, Seminole County, and was later pronounced dead at the hospital. Deputies say the child was unresponsive when pulled from the water, and the sheriff’s office is continuing to investigate but has not yet released further details.
