ā¢ FK Architecture Opens Koch Architecture Scholarship Apps (ccr-mag.com) ā High school seniors in Orange, Osceola, and Seminole counties can now apply for a $1,500 architecture scholarship administered through FK Architectureās Maitland office on Maitland Center Parkway. The Robert and Joanne Koch Scholarship supports students headed to accredited Central Florida architecture programs, with applications due by April 24 for mailing and April 26 overall.

ā¢ Sanford leaders agree to no retail in apartment complex (growthspotter.com) ā Sanford officials narrowly agreed to let a 305āunit apartment project swap traditional storefront retail for more officeāstyle commercial space, while still requiring true groundāfloor commercial areas with separate client bathrooms. The developer points to Maitland City Centreās live/work model as proof the concept can succeed and says it will revise plans to meet the cityās new conditions and move toward construction. Ā Ā Ā
