• Florida Rural Mail Carrier Pleads Guilty to Delay or Destruction of Mail (postalemployeenetwork.com) — A rural mail carrier who lives in Marianna has pleaded guilty to a federal charge after hundreds of pieces of mail from her Jackson County route were found discarded in a burn barrel in Marianna. Federal prosecutors say she faces up to five years in prison, with sentencing set for September 16 in Tallahassee. Investigators recovered 498 pieces of undelivered mail from the site.
