• Couple's romantic dinner knocked off track by suspicions of cheating (leesburg-news.com) — A Mascotte resident was arrested after police say a dinner outing in Clermont escalated into a violent confrontation, with his wife reporting strangulation and theft of several hundred dollars. Clermont and Mascotte officers coordinated to detain him at the couple’s Mascotte home and recover the cash, and he now faces multiple felony and misdemeanor charges in Lake County.
